IRB DRIVER
Description
The IRB Driver is responsible for safely operating the IRB in the surf zone and managing the IRB Crew.
How to enroll
Prior to the commencement of the course participants must complete their Life Saving Victoria course enrolment:

Login to https://mt.lsv.com.au/login/ using your Surf Life Saving Australia Members Portal login details*

Click on 'Find a New Course'

Look for IRB Driver Certificate at Altona LSC and click 'Enrol'
Pre-Requisites

Must be a financial Club member prior to course registration

Must be at least 17 years and of age on the date of the final assessment.

Must hold a proficient Bronze Medallion.

Must hold a proficient IRB Crew Certificate.

Must hold a current Victorian Marine License.
Skills Maintenance
An annual Skills Maintenance must be undertaken each season to keep this award proficient.

Assessment
Participants will be required to complete activities that may include role plays, oral and written questioning, practical demonstrations and performing scenarios. This will take place on the final day of the course.
