How do I renew?
Welcome Back ! – ALSC are glad to see you return for the upcoming season.
To renew your membership follow the steps below.
Step 1. Review your Working with Children Check
Every member over 18 years old MUST submit a current WWCC issued by the Victorian Department of Justice. Ensure your WWCC is current & has a minimum 6 months validity.
Use the link below to renew your WWCC via your MyCheck account
If you have renewed or obtained a new WWCC, please email a copy of your current linked WWCC cards for all registered members 18 years and over to wwcc@altonalsc.com.au
Step 2. Register Renewal with Surf Lifesaving Australia (SLSA)
Log into your Member Account & follow the renewal instructions. Payment must be made at the time of registration. See Membership Fees for more details
Please note: Once your renewal has been reviewed, & required documents have been uploaded, you will receive a Welcome Back Confirmation email from our Membership Registrar advising your membership has been processed & approved.
Step 3. Vaccination Requirements - Lifesaving Victoria
Following the end of the Victorian Government’s pandemic orders, LSV has updated its COVID-19 vaccination advice for life saving club members, in consultation with other Victorian volunteer emergency service organisations.
All members are strongly encouraged to have an up-to-date vaccination status, as outlined by age group on the Victorian Government’s Coronavirus website. Members are also strongly encouraged to take a preventative approach to COVID-19, including getting tested and staying at home if unwell, and maintaining good hygiene practices.
The COVID-19 Vaccination FAQs has been updated to reflect the latest advice and related information for members.
How will vaccination status be recorded and verified?
Vaccination status is recorded and verified through completion of the LSV Vaccination Status Form. Completing this process will be required to engage in service delivery or participating in face-to-face activities. Once your certificate has been verified it will be deleted from the database

We recognise the past few years have been difficult. As a community organisation, we strive to enable as many to participate in club activities without financial burden.
We value our members & hope to provide support to our volunteer members so that you, in turn, may contribute to supporting our local community.
