STEP 1 - Prerequisites:

Must be a paid and approved member for the current season

Minimum 13 years (on the day of final assessment, can be completed 60days after the original / scheduled assessment date)

Able to swim 200m in 5 minutes
STEP 2 - Registration:

Create an account on Members’ Portal login to access their account members.sls.com.au

Register for the SRC course at mt.lsv.com.au using the same login

Complete your 200m swim in under 5 minutes
STEP 3 - Prepare Before Course Start:

Complete a 200m swim in under 5 minutes (pool ≥ 25m) → Submit evidence Form

Finish your eLearning modules via LSV Members Training area
Step 4: Club Expectation
ALSC is built on teamwork and community service, all members who complete their awards are encouraged to:
• Join a patrol team
• Participate in rostered patrols throughout the season
Your commitment helps keep our beaches safe and supports the club’s lifesaving mission. Patrol hours also count toward maintaining your proficiency and eligibility for future awards.

An Annual skills maintenance must be completed each season to keep this award proficient
