ADVANCED RESUSCITATION TECHNIQUES & FIRST AID (ARTFA) 

Knowledge gained 

First Aid provides participants with the skills and knowledge to manage an emergency first aid situation until professional support arrives. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a statement of attainment for the following units of competency: (HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011), Your ART award will be valid for 3 years & CPR will be valid for 1 year 

 

ARTFA provides participants with the skills and knowledge to use oxygen resuscitation, bag valve mask and suction equipment in an emergency and knowledge of First Aid. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a statement of attainment for the following unit of competency (HLTAID015). We are delivering a blended version of this course - First Aid / ART / Resuscitation  

 
Pre-requisites: 

  • Membership must be paid and approved for the current season. 

  • The participant must be at least 15 years of age at final assessment.  

  • Register for the course online through the Members Training Portal  on the LSV Clubs Gateway  

  • MUST complete online e-learning prior to face-to-face attendance

  • Note no bronze medallion award required to participate in this course.
